Wow, haven't updated in a while . . . Gonna try to fix that soon.

At work, there is a pumpkin decorating contest. I was drafted by my coworker Kurt to help make a Transformers pumpkin. Here are the results: Gourdimus Prime.

There's supposed to be an "other projects" button on the sidebar, but I haven't added it yet, but this pumpkin will go there whenever I get around to uploading it.

Connecticon and Other Stuff

Connecticon is this weekend!

Come on down to the Artist's Alley and see me! (Look for the giant Horde flag.)

Still working on this site. The new Sockpuppet Asylum comics are all uploaded, all the Classic comics that I've completed are uploaded (I still have that Laser Tag Solid 3 and final arc comics sitting around, waiting to be finished . . . Someday . . . ) and now the art page links to my deviantArt page until construction is completed. After Connecticon, there may or may not be a "video" page added. Depends on how good Brian and I are at editing stuff.

Speaking of deviantArt, I've got some new pics up, which are pretty nifty:
Dr. Horrible
Ghostbusters vs. Michael Jackson
Cairne Bloodhoof
Muppet Gear Solid

Now to go pack for Connecticon. Huzzah!

Going to be at Tora-Con this saturday. Come on over to RIT and say hi, I'll be in the artist's alley.

The Cow, my (sort of) new comic is now up and online, and regular updates start next week. The entire first issue is online, so there's stuff to read. I'll probably do a Monday\Wednesday\Friday update schedule.

Now that The Cow site is basically done, I can start working on this one. Hooray.

New Site (Finally)

Okay, hey, hi. What's up?

Okay, yeah, so the site's back up. Finally. Sorry, been pretty busy. Here's a quick low-down on what's going on with the site: I'm no longer updating the Sockpuppet Asylum comic regularly. I may or may not occasionally draw something and upload it to the archives, and the front page here will be updated to reflect that. (I do have several half-finished comics I could upload, and may once I get more settled in.) I will, however be doing a NEW webcomic. Well . . . Actually, I'm doing a new version of an old webcomic . . . That's right, I've brought back The Cow. It's even got it's own site now.

So what does that mean for Sockpuppet Asylum? Well, I love this site, and don't want to get rid of it, plus I don't want to lose my old comic archives, so I'm keeping this as a website to host my art, as well as anything else I may want to use it for. (Cue ominous laughter.)

A quick rundown of the links to the left:

The Cow - a link that will take you to my new site, http://www.thecowcomic.com, home of The Cow.

Sockpuppet Asylum - The newer of the two Sockpuppet Asylum comics. I still get funny ideas from time to time, so if I feel inclined, I'll update it. (The archives aren't complete at the moment . . . I kinda lost the old one in the remodel, and I have to go through 175 comics and reupload them one by one.)

Sockpuppet Asylum Classic - The first comic I did. It's almost at 1000 comics, with about 25 left that I need to scan and upload. . . . I'm only three, four years behind . . .

Art - Once I get it up and running, it will be my art gallery. (Sensing a theme here with unfinished stuff?)

Blog - My LiveJournal, which is updated randomly with whatever is on my mind. Usually, it's a stupid joke or pop culture reference.

About - A little section about myself . . . and anyone else who may get involved in projects involving this site . . . (There's that ominous laughter again . . . )

Con Schedule - I'm going to be in the Artists Alley at a few conventions this summer. This is a list of when and where I'll be attending.

I think that's it for now . . . I've just got to make sure everything is working and start adding actual content.
